Beth Macari is an award winning soul singer recognised internationally for her music and power-house voice.
Over the past 7 years Beth has established herself as a leading vocal coach, delivering vocal courses to degree students at two of the North East’s leading universities, as well as building a reputation as one of the regions most sought after vocal coaches, running private tuition from her studio in Newcastle upon Tyne.
In 2015, Beth worked on SKY ONE Show ‘Bring The Noise’, coaching and performing with the likes of Melanie C, Nicole Scherzinger & Olivia Coleman to name a few. Beth’s original music has featured in the Top 5 of both the UK & US Soul Charts and had radio play across stations such as BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing, Kiss FM and more around the world.
Beth’s coaching style is centred around giving students the self belief & confidence to enhance their voices and unlock their full potential, guided by her unique approach to singing and providing them with the ultimate tool kit to sing and project with ease.
Working with singers of all ages and abilities, Beth believes ‘If you can talk, you can sing and no goal is too big!’.
My Approach
I absolutely LOVE my job. I love nothing more than being able to see my students grow into such confident and skilled performers, who fully understand their voice and how to use it in the very best way!

The techniques I use are based on something called “Speech level singing”, it’s all about being able to sing effortlessly. Just like ‘speech’, you shouldn’t have to think about it, you do it with ease and no strain!
